Like many others, I was first drawn to Solid Gold by the brand’s colorful packaging. But, as I quickly learned, one package sitting alone was easy to navigate, but an entire aisle of sparkly, swirling packages was difficult to shop.

As part of the marketing team, I was challenged with evolving the existing pack designs into two defined lanes that were easy to shop yet retained all of the unique illustrations that had become so iconic.

In the middle of this year-long project, our team was further challenged to expand upon our recipe story by highlighting superfood ingredients as part of the re-design. These superfoods had always been in our recipes but had never been given a place to shine.

Our 40+ Year Heritage was also given prominent pack placement as well as key formula benefits to help pet parents pick the perfect recipes for their fur babies.
